If you are interested in learning how to fly fish or just want to perfect your casting skills, become a member of The Oakland Casting Club today! We pride ourselves on the diversity of our club members and encourage people of all ages, genders, skill levels, and even families to join us.

Support the Ponds

Your membership dues not only support our organization, resources and events but help us maintain the ponds so all the public can continue to enjoy. Your dues help provide:​

  • Waterproofing and sealing materials for the casting pools

  • Supplies to maintain the shed, repair the benches, fix the rod racks, and facilitate general cleaning.

  • Materials to fabricate new targets or to replace
    older ones

  • Purchase and maintenance of lesson equipment (rods, reels. lines, etc.)
