The Oakland Casting Club offers public casting lessons on the third Saturday of March, April, May, June, and September. We limit the lessons to 24 students to maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio. All skill levels are welcome, and if you don’t have your own equipment, don’t worry! We have rod/reel/line outfits that participants can borrow for free. Youth casters (10+ years) are encouraged to participate in the presence of their guardians.
Lessons start at 10:00 AM and run for 1.5 to 2 hours.
